Apple Crisp

8 baking apples
1 c. brown sugar
2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. salt
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. oatmeal

Peel and slice apples, place in bottom of buttered baking dish; add water. Combine sugar, cinnamon, salt, flour and oatmeal; rub butter into mixture to make crumbs. spread crumbs of apples, patting down evenly. Bake uncovered at 375 for 40 minutes. Serve with milk or ice cream
