Butterhorns

Mix 1 pkg. yeast with 1 c. warm water and let stand for 5 minutes.

Add:
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 t. salt
3 eggs
Stir well

Add 5 c. flour

Let rise 2 hours.
Punch down and roll into butterhorns, rolls or buns.
Let stand, covered with a cloth for 2 hours or until double in size.
Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown
