1 – 6 qt. pan mashed potatoes
2 T. butter
1/2 t. garlic powder
1 – 8 oz. cream cheese
paprika
salt
Velveeta cheese
Cook and mash potatoes. Add more milk the you usually would. Add salt, butter, garlic powder and cream cheese. Put into a casserole dish. Cut sticks from the cheese and poke into potatoes. Sprinkle paprika on top. Bake at 375, uncovered, until lightly browned.
Note:
This can be made a day or two before guest come, just keep in fridge. Don’t bake until ready to use. No need to make any gravy for these potatoes.
