1 c. butter
2 large eggs
2 c. buttermilk
3 t. baking powder
2 c. sugar
1 t. almond extract
3 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
Directions
Cream together butter, sugar, eggs and extract. Add the remaining ingredients. Blend well. Spray 13 x 9 pan with vegetable spray or grease and flour. Pour two-thirds of batter into pan; sprinkle with ¾ cup milk chocolate chips. Spread remaining batter over chips. Bake in 350 degrees over for 45-50 minutes.
When completely cool, combine the following ingredients and drizzle over cake:
1/3 c. milk chocolate chips
1 ½ t. shortening
