Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookie

3 c. flour (unsifted)
1 t. baking soda
1 c. butter (softened)
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. light brown sugar (packed)
1 pkg. (4 serving size) Jello chocolate or vanilla pudding
1 t. vanilla
2 eggs
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 c, chopped nuts (optional)

Mix flour with baking soda. Combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, pudding mix and vanilla in large bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy. Add eggs. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Batter will be stiff. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 8 – 10 minutes
