1 c. brown sugar (packed)
1/2 c. milk
1 t. salt
1/2 t. baking soda
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. butter
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 t. baking powder
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
Blend sugar, butter and milk in saucepan. Bring just to a boil, stirring constantly; cool for 5 minutes. Blend flour, salt baking powder and baking soda. Beat eggs into butter mixture. Add flour mixture and mix thoroughly. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
