Pudding:
2 c. (scant) flour
1 t. vanilla
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
2 t. cinnamon
2 t. baking powder
2 T. butter, creamed
pinch of salt
Syrup:
2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. water
3 T. butter
3 c. whipping cream
Pudding;
Beat batter until nice and fluffy. Then pour into 13 x 9 pan.
Syrup:
Boil together until butter melts. Then pour on top of pudding mixture and bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Cool and cut in pieces. Layer in serving bowl: pudding-syrup cake pieces then whipping cream, repeat several times finishing with whipping cream on top.
