Clayton’s Beef Stew

1 qt. canned beef chunks & broth
4 diced med. carrots
1 diced med. onion
5 diced med. potatoes
1 diced small pepper
2 c. water


Cook until vegetable are tender. When broth is hot and
vegetables are tender , stir in browned thickening.
Cook over medium heat until desired thickness.

Thickening: Add 4 heaping tablespoons flour, browned deeply in 1/2 cup
vegetable oil. Flavor to taste with salt and pepper.

Variation: Any combination of vegetables may be use.
