4 c. flour
8 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
2 T. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs, beaten
1 2/3 c. milk
Rub together first 5 ingredients to resemble crumbs. Combine beaten eggs and milk then add all at once. Knead gently, 20 strokes. Bake at 450 for 15 minutes.
