2 C. flour
4 T. shortening
1 t. salt
1 1/4 C. white sugar
4 t. baking powder
Enough milk to make a medium consistency batter.
Mix and pour into 13 x 9 pan, then mix 2 C. brown sugar and 6 T. cocoa. Sprinkle over cake batter then pour 3 1/4 C. hot water over entire batter. Bake at 350 until cake springs back when lightly touched.
