Cream Cheese Pecan Pie

8 oz. cream cheese
½ c. white sugar
1 beaten egg
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 ¼ c. chopped pecans

Topping:
6 beaten eggs
2 c. light corn syrup
½ c. white sugar

Directions

Cream the cream cheese, sugar, egg, salt and vanilla. Spread into unbaked pie shells; sprinkle with nuts.
Topping:
Combine ingredients and pour over nuts. Bake at 375 degrees until done. Yield: 2 pies
