Cream Fill Coffee Cake

1 c. milk
1 stick oleo
1/2 c. sugar
1 t. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 T. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
3 1/2 c. flour

Crumbs:
3 T. oleo
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. flour

Scald milk; add oleo, sugar and salt add to beaten eggs. dissolve yeast in warm water and add to other ingredients. Add flour. Let rise; work out and divide into 3 pie pans.

Spread crumbs on top. Let rise again. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool and split each cake and fill with filling.

Filling:
1/2 c. sugar
4 T. water
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. oleo
1 egg
2 t. vanilla
4 3/4 c. powdered sugar

Boil together sugar and water for 3 minutes or until syrupy. Add Crisco, oleo, egg and vanilla. Stir in powdered sugar.
