Custard Pie

4 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. scalded milk


Mix dry ingredients.
Add butter to eggs,
then add sugar mixture.
Beat well, adding milk. Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 400 for 10 minutes,
then turn to 350 until done
