Doughnut Recipe

2 c. warm water
2 T. yeast
½ c. sugar
1 T. Salt
½ c. shortening
3 eggs
6 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar, salt, shortening, eggs and 2 c. flour. Beat well. Add rest of flour. Let rise to double in size. Roll out and cut doughnuts. Let rise again. Fry. Cool. Glaze
