2/3 c. dry bread crumbs
1 c. milk
1 1/2 lb. beef
2 beaten eggs
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sage
Piquant Sauce
Directions
Soak bread crumbs in milk; add meat, eggs and onions. Add seasoning and mix well.
Form in a loaf and place into a greased pan.
Cover meat with Piquant Sauce before baking.
Piquant sauce: Combine 3 tablespoons brown sugar,
1/4 c. catsup, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and
1 T. dry mustard.
