Ginger Cookies

5 c. flour
4 t. cinnamon
2 t. baking soda
1 t. cloves
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. dark molasses
1/3 c. water
1 t. salt
2 t. ginger

Cream butter until light. Beat in molasses, then eggs; blend in water. Stir dry ingredients together, then stir in butter mixture. Chill at least 2 hours. Roll into small balls and press onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes
