12 slices thin, de-crusted sandwich bread
1 lb. sliced ham
¾ lb. sharp cheese, shredded
2 pkg. chopped frozen broccoli
Sauce:
3 beaten eggs
3 c. milk
½ tsp. dried mustard
½ tsp. salt
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
Topping:
1 c. corn flakes, crushed
1 T. melted butter
Directions
Butter a 9 x 13 baking dish. Place 6 slices
of bread on bottom of dish. Cover with ham,
then broccoli. Sprinkle cheese over, then cover
with 6 slices of bread.
Sauce: Mix and pour over casserole. Cover
and refrigerate overnight.
Topping: Mix together corn flake crumbs and
butter; sprinkle over top of casserole. Bake at
300 degrees for 1 ½ hours.
