Honey Nut Apple Cake

2 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
2 c. all purpose flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. salt
3 c. apples, peeled and finely chopped
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins

Topping:
3/4 c. quick oats
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 T. all purpose flour
1/2 t. cinnamon

Heat oven to 350. In medium bowl, combine all topping ingredients; set aside. In a large bowl combine sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla; beat well. Stir in apples, nuts and raisins. Spread batter onto greased 13 x 9 pan. Sprinkle topping onto batter, pressing firmly. bake for 45 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm.
