Honey Oatmeal Bread

5 C. water
1/2 C. yeast
2 T. sugar
1 1/2 C. vegetable oil
8 eggs
18 C. white flour
4 C. oatmeal
2 C. warm water
2 C. honey
1/4 C. salt
4 C. wheat flour


Bring 5 C. water to boil, add oatmeal. Cool slightly. Dissolve yeast in 2 C. warm water and sugar. Mix together with main ingredients for 10 minutes. Let rise, punch down. Let rise again. Put in BREAD PANs. Yields 8 loaves. Bake at 325 to 350 for 45 minutes to an hour.
