Key Lime Pie

4 egg yolks
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c. lime juice
4 egg whites
6 T. sugar

Directions

Beat egg yolks; add condensed milk and lime juice.
Beat until thick. Pour into a baked pie shell.

Topping:
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Add sugar one tablespoon at a time.
Spoon on top of pie and bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes,
until egg white peaks are browned.

Variation: You can also beat 1 egg white and fold into filling
