1 stick of butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 1/2 t. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 lg. can sliced peaches
Melt butter in 13 x 9 pan. Mix 1 cup of the sugar with the flour and baking powder; add milk and beat. Pour over melted butter in pan; Do Not Stir. Place fruit with juice on top of batter; sprinkle remaining sugar on top. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
