Maple Twist Rolls

3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
2 3/4 – 3 c. flour
3 T. sugar
1/2 t. salt
1 t. yeast
1 t. maple flavoring
1 egg

1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. nuts
1 t. cinnamon
1 T. maple flavoring
1/4 c. butter, melted

Mix dough like bread and let rise 1 hour. Divide into 3 balls. Grease a 12 inch pizza pan. Mix together flavoring ingredients, except butter. Roll each ball in a circle to cover bottom of pan. Brush dough with half of the 1/4 c. melted butter and sprinkle with half of the flavoring mixture. Top with another layer of dough, butter and nut mixture. Top with another layer of dough. Put a glass in center of pan and cut dough with kitchen scissors. Cut from the outside edge to the glass, forming 16 pie shaped wedges. One twist 3-5 times. remove from glass. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes
