1 c. mashed potatoes
1 c. potato water
2/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 c. milk (scalded)
1 T. salt
1 pkg. or 1 T. dry yeast
flour (enough to make soft dough easy to handle)
Cook and mash potatoes and add remaining ingredients except yeast and flour. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 c. warm water, and add 1 t. sugar, let set 5 minutes. Add to other mixture and work in flour to a soft dough consistency. Let rise in warm place until double in bulk. Work down and let rise again (about 1 hour). Divide dough in 3 parts and roll out in rectangular shape. Spread with oleo and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up and cut in 1? pieces and lay cut side down in greased pan. Let rise until double and bake at 350 until golden.
