Melt in Your Mouth Biscuits

2 c. flour
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. cream of tarter
1/2 t. salt
2 T. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
2/3 c. milk

Sift dry ingredients together and cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal. Pour milk in slowly. Add egg and stir well. Bake for 10 – 15 minutes at 350.
