Minted Walnuts

1/4 c. light Karo
1 c. sugar
10 large marshmallows
1 t. essence of peppermint
1/2 c. water
3 c. walnut halves

Combine first 2 ingredients in saucepan. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Boil to a soft ball stage. remove from heat. Quickly add peppermint and marshmallows. Stir until dissolved. Add nuts.
Stir until well coated. Pour onto waxed paper. Separate nuts while still warm. Let set for 2 days until no longer sticky
