Orange Buttermilk Salad

1 can 8 1/2 oz. crushed pineapple
1 pkg. 6 oz. orange flavored gelatin
2 c. buttermilk
1 carton 8 oz. frozen whipped topping
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Bring pineapple to a boil. Stir in gelatin and cool to room temperature. Stir in buttermilk. Fold in whipped topping and nuts. Chill.
