Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

2 c. brown sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. pumpkin (cooked and mashed)
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
1 t. soda
1 t. vanilla
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. ginger
1/2 t. cloves

Cream sugar and oil. Add pumpkin and eggs; cream again. Add rest of ingredients. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 10 – 12 minutes.

Filling:
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. sugar
1 T. vanilla
1 1/2 c. Crisco

Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla together. Add Crisco and beat until smooth. Spread between to baked whoopie pies.
