Rhubarb Cake

1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
½ c. white sugar
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. chopped rhubarb

Top with:
½ c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ c. chopped nuts

Directions

Cream butter, sugar and egg. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla, then add flour, salt and baking soda. Blend in rhubarb. Bake at 325 degrees until done.
