Stuffed French Toast

4 eggs
1/2 C. half and half
1/4 C. orange juice
1/2 C. sugar
1 t. vanilla
1/2 C. nutmeg
1 T. grated orange peel
8 slices cinnamon raisin bread


1 – 8oz. honey cream cheese
1 t. orange zest
1 T. sugar

Combine first 7 ingredients. Pour into 8×8 pan. Combine filling. Spread on 4 bread slices. Top with other bread. Dip in batter. Toast in skillet. Bake on cookie sheet 10 minutes at 350.
